This listing is for a single board to be used to test settings.  This board will have some flaw such as a crack that makes it unfit for sale.  This does make it great for testing settings!!  You don't have to worry about ruining a board.

Laser machine engrave settings vary by machine and style preference.  For the Glowforge: I prefer 1000 speed, full power, 270 or 340 LPI.  You do need to remove the crumb tray.
